BRAND & BUSINESS

Kups

Milkshake and Smoothie bar, which also serves healthy Breakfast and lunch options (porridge and Soup).

Menu options:

Smoothies
Juices
Porridge
Soup
Hot drinks - Tea, Coffee, etc.

The health aspects of the brand will be heavily marketed, with our smoothies offering up to 2 of ‘your 5 a day’.

The drive behind the brand will be the convenience of a cup, and a great tasting product; with the majority of our products being served out of cups.


INDUSTRY & COMPETITORS

In regard to menu, our main competitor is Crussh, although we aim to compete with companies such as Eat, Pret A Manger, and other independent cafés, for market share of breakfast and lunch trade.


VALUES

The design should communicate a feeling of being fresh and trendy; while still being associated with the core element of a cup (takeaway style cup).


GOALS

The design should be modern, striking, and clearly associated with our ‘Kup’ brand.


COLOURS

The logo should stand out against a white background. We have a preference toward striking colours, such as green and purple; although, this is not set in stone.

DIRECTIONAL DESIGNS (Uploaded Design Brief Pictures)

We looked for smoothie and milkshake bar logo designs, although we were unable to find many examples that worked with the direction that we envision our brand taking. Below is a list of two that we like, and why:

Jamba juice: We like the abstract association with the product.

Innocent Smoothies: This is by far the best example of what we’re looking for. We Like the simplicity of this design; it looks modern, it’s clear, it’s easy to associate with the brand, and wouldn’t look out of place next to a Facebook, or Twitter icon.

Anforderungen

Schön zu haben

• If possible, we would like the logo to incorporate the letter K into a cup in some way, although it would possibly need to be in a clever, and abstract manner; as we have numerous styles of cups, e.g., dome topped smoothie and milkshake cups, takeaway coffee cups, takeaway soup cups.
• This would be nice, but not a must have to for our logo.
