YOUR MISSION AND VISION.

I am a Progressive Trance DJ and Producer focused on creating quality music and an unforgettable live experience. I believe in the power and capability of music to connect every individual in this world and help them strive to better themselves and the world around them.

2. WHO IS YOUR TARGET MARKET / DEMOGRAPHIC?

Fans of electronic dance music, positive-thinking and open-minded individuals. Most heavily focused on 16-28 evenly spread between males and females, though there are also a significant amount of EDM music fans in the older demographics.

3. WHO ARE YOUR COMPETITORS AND HOW DO THEY
POSITION THEMSELVES? HOW DO YOU DIFFER FROM
THEM?

The top artists and groups with the scale and degree of success that I hope to achieve one day all seem to have remarkably clean, bold, and memorable branding and logos to back up their vision. Artists such as these include Armin van Buuren (http://www.arminvanbuuren.com/) , Above & Beyond (http://www.aboveandbeyond.nu/), and Tiesto (http://www.tiesto.com/Tiesto-home), who respectively own the labels Armada Music (http://www.armadamusic.com/), Anjunabeats (http://www.anjunabeats.com/), and Musical Freedom (http://www.musicalfreedom.com/) all with fantastic branding and logos.

They position themselves through their music, of course. However, if we are
to speak strictly in terms of branding and logos, we would like to differ from
them by creating something more edgy, modern and memorable.

4. WHAT IS THE EXACT WORDING YOU WOULD LIKE TO APPEAR IN THE LOGO AND WHAT IS YOUR TAGLINE IF APPLICABLE, DO YOU WANT THIS IN YOUR LOGO?

Alchemind in wording, with a logo icon. I would like to have the wording done as well as a logo icon that can serve as a standalone. I would like people to see the icon without the word and be able to quickly associate the two.

5. WHAT WAS THE IDEA BEHIND THE NAME? WHERE DID IT COME FROM?

The name was inspired by the book “The Alchemist” where a young boy seeks to fulfill his dream of finding treasure in the pyramids, and who was guided along the way by an alchemist who knew of the secret of turning lead into gold. The book is an incredible read and I believe it is a metaphor to life.

6. WHAT IS THE OVERALL MESSAGE YOU WISH TO PORTRAY WITH YOUR BRAND? WHAT SHOULD PEOPLE FEEL WHEN THEY SEE OR THINK OF YOUR BRAND

We want people to feel inspired when they see our brand. The overall
message we wish to portray is to pursue your greatest dreams, no matter
how wild or unrealistic, for it is the journey that is most valuable, and it is
the sense of achievement that makes life most memorable. I ultimately
want people to walk away from the show feeling renewed, energized, and
motivated.

our website), and will also be portrayed on massive LED screens during

10.WHAT COLORS YOU WOULD LIKE TO EXPLORE OR AVOID

No fluorescent, bright, or neon colors. I envision our logo to be mostly
black and gold. Most logos for EDM artists are black and white. I am
perfectly fine with that, but also open to any ideas you may have.

11. YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC ICONS / SYMBOLS / IMAGES THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO ASSOCIATE WITH YOUR BRAND

I envision a circular design for the icon, resembling a third eye, but not so much in
the shape of an eye, but more of a perfect circle. We would like elements of
chakra, energy, fractal design, and mysticism to be incorporated if possible. I would like Alchemind to appear edgy, slightly bold, modern, and geometric/fractal if possible.
