Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for a new business based in Southwest Florida. We are a bottle shop, tap room, brew supply, and micro brewery that serves food.

I have included the logo that I have been using. Issues I'd like to see addressed are that the image is too tall. I often run into applications that want more of a square design and this is very tall. The image of the torch is very detailed, when i shrink it down everything blurs, if I expand it the detailed lines appear to thin. Perhaps utilizing thicker lines and in some cases removing lines to simplify the artwork. I have also heard that there may be issues with the font laying over the art, idea I had was that the font could be in some sort of banner. The original art came from a tattoo artist and I like that tattoo style. It's currently only black and white but i am not opposed to added a second color. I'm into black and white, gold/brass type coloring, and greys. I like vintage modern, tattoo, and calligraphy stylings.

I want the finale design to appeal to my target demo of 21-45 year old craft beer drinks. Something edgy.

I am not completely opposed to a unique perspective on this. If someone out there thinks they have a better vision for this I am very interested in seeing it.
