Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a new company based in Austin, TX and serving the Texas marketplace. Our company is an importer / wholesaler of boutique wines that are hard to find and not offered in liquor stores, etc. We are focused on selling the end consumer through small independent wine bars, wine shops, tastings, etc. The design needs to communicate exclusivity and quality through small focused operators. While wine is the focus, the logo should not preclude the addition of other alcoholic beverages.

More detail:
It would be preferable to have a central graphic symbol in the logo, such as a wine bottle, glass, grapes, etc. Alternatively, it could also be an abstract symbol that creates a feeling of exclusivity and superior quality.
We would like to include the color purple in the logo. It may be interesting to use the "color of the year", Radiant Orchid - Pantone 18-3224.
Lettering within the logo should be modern in style and should not overshadow the central graphics, but rather be complimentary in nature.
We do not want the logo to represent the state of Texas, as this would be limiting.
