Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a new logo for my blog and e-commerce business called “Frumpy Fighters.”
We offer fashion help "for moms fighting the frumpy monster!"

—Business Description—

PRODUCTS: We sell courses and ebooks that help moms improve their style and wardrobes on a budget.

CURRENT/OLD LOGO: The business was previously called “Now THAT I Can Do, Mama!” but will be shifting to the new name as the audience and direction of the business has solidified. (the current, old logo that will be replaced can be seen on our website: www.nowthaticando.com / www.frumpyfighters.com).

I’d like the new logo to be less busy and more trendy.

AUDIENCE: We are a blog and ecommerce site that helps busy moms navigate the world of fashion. Sort of a “fashion for dummies” resource because our audience is busy and on a budget.

Our tagline is “moms fighting the frumpy monster.” Frumpy is a word that describes dowdy, ill-fitting, or dated clothing. I.E. frumpy housewife. The purpose of our company is to help women “fight” against the tendency to dress “frumpy”.

Our audience is a strong, supportive community of moms that have embraced the brand name and often refer to themselves as “frumpy fighters.”

My audience avatar: A stay-at-home mom in her 20s-30s with small children.

• —Design Requirements/Vision for new Logo—
• I want a custom-drawn image/logo in WATERCOLOR. Font must be hand-drawn as well.
• I want a logo that is the Pictorial/Combo type: with image + business name
• Needs to include business name “Frumpy Fighters”
• I want the logo to be simple, clean, and straightforward—something that can be recognized easily as a watermark or in smaller sizes (such as a profile picture).
• But it would be cool if it could include an artistic/creative/unique component to it. I don’t want it to look like a bit of free clip art + font.
• Initially picturing a graphic on the top and text on the bottom. Or graphic on left and text on right.
• I love Hand Drawn font emerging from Logo.

• Two colors max (from brand colors). Open to any color combinations from brand colors.

• The top half of the board has logos that I like. Each pin of a logo has an updated description stating what I like about the logo specifically.
• Feel free to surprise me with a design that’s not represented in the mood board! I’m not a designer and would love some out-of-the-box ideas as long as they’re in line with my basic requirements.
• Bottom half of board has several pins from the website to show my brand personality/style.

• CURRENT DESIGN VISION
• Needs to incorporate: MOM, FASHION/STYLE
• One idea I had for the image part of the logo was to embrace the “fighter” part of “frumpy fighters”, but in a way that incorporates fashion for moms. Something like a woman’s fist holding both a hanger and a pacifier. The fist communicates “fighting” and “victory” and “determination”, while the hanger and pacifier allude to what’s she’s balancing in life.
• I’m not very creative though… so feel free to branch out from that initial idea! ;)
• I’m open to creative and unique designs that communicate the “mom” and “fashion” concepts, in line with “Frumpy Fighters,” which is a playful name.
• COLORS
• I'm open to either all-black or two colors max. Here are the color combos I’d be open to seeing in the initial drafts!
• 1) Just Black (Hex #080808)
• 2) Just Hot Pink (Hex #fb006f)
• 3) Two-tone: Hot pink (Hex #fb006f) + Black (Hex #080808)
• 4) Two-Tone Hot pink (Hex #fb006f) + Turquoise (Hex #40c8a1)

Sollte nicht haben

• I DON’T WANT: more than two tones, busy, complex, hard to read, vintage, or floral.
• If script font is used, needs to be a hand-drawn variety that is easy to read.
