Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new IT services company based in Dublin, Ireland called "Cumulonimbus" - which is a type of weather cloud. We provide consulting services around cloud based technologies with a focus on integration and architectural capabilities.
We are aware of a similar named Canadian company, cumulonimbus.ca, and would like the design to differ somewhat from theirs.
We would like the cloud concept included in the design, but the design to be simple and clean. We are not strict on particular colours, and are open to both white cloud on coloured background, and visa versa.
I would like to stay away from the colour blue if possible, and would like to see something bold and unusual. I am open to 'off-beat' designs - to a point. It is still a technology consulting company.
The final design should communicate confidence, thought leadership and professionalism. The company is sells the "brain power" and "expertise" of its consultants.

• The company name should be fully in lower case
• Some reference to knowledge, experience or integration/connectivity
• I would be interested to see how the logo can integrate into the name rather than simply sit above it... I accept this is hard

Sollte nicht haben

• close similarity to cumulonimbus.ca logo
• nothing similar to the SalesForce.com logo - I am getting a lot of similar designs too close to this
• ideally stay away from the colour blue, esp skype/salesforce blue ! Be bold with colour
• Please do not send 3-4 designs the exact same just with different colours - try pick the best colour and send one. We can refine colour if the design is solid !
