So far I like the more contemporary fonts and text styles that are similar to the ones AGR-X and Pablo Von Crust submitted.

I do like the sort of "nature" themed icon that Alex Silva did with the mountain and reflecting lake. Helps us reflect our "park" lifestyle.

Starting to get warmer! Other icons of the park that came to my mind were Evergreen Trees, Blue Hearings, Blades of Grass, Leaves, Eagles, Walking paths. But I encourage you to watch the youtube video and just act on your gut. Be Creative, but keep it clean!

I found a better picture of our exisitng sign and logo incase it helps anybody get ideas. It was just uploaded as "Current_Sign.jpeg".

I just uploaded a new photo (20111015_153021.jpeg). This is the style of sign that we are thinking about implimenting. However, we are not married to it, so please dont let it limit your design. We may end up doing another painted wood routed sign to save money.
