Grafik-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Miller Family Crest is tribute to my dad, Wallace Raymond Miller and his Great Grand Father, Theodore A. Miller. Theodore was from Bollinger Wurtemberg, Germany and travelled to the United States in 1851 when he was only 15 years old. Theodore married Caroline Ramp and had children starting the Miller journey within the United States with me and my sibligs being the 5th generation of Americans.

My father taught me the importance of loving your wife and children. To work long and hard to provide a home and an education for them. He and my mom taught me the importance of honesty and integrity and showered me with unconditional love.

This Crest represents past Millers generations and future Miller generations associated with my family. It will stand as a symbol of Love, Peace, Honesty and Integrity. Also of being one that cares and protects others, not one who takes advantage of them.

The eagle was chosen by the United States of America as a symbol for its majestic beauty, great strength, long life, and because it's native to North America.

This eagle to me represents Honesty, Truth and Integrity, and also bestows freedom and courage to look ahead.

The eagles chest is in the the shape of a star and cresent badge which symbolizes to me integrity, teamwork, kindness and service.

The words inside of the star and cresent begin with God the creator of the universe and the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Without Gods love nothing will be accomplished.

Family…provides love, support and framework of values where respect for others and responsibility is learned.

Friends…those who are not blood relatives however provide the attributes of a family.

1017…my first badge number worn as a New Orleans Police Officer. This represents in our immediate family; Love, Happiness, and Security.

The blue perch in the shape of clasped hands in which the eagle stands represents the Thin Blue Line of Law Enforcement Brotherhood. The hands which are similar to the ones on Theodore and Caroline’s headstone represent Peace, Love and Happiness.

The extension of the perch has railroad rails symbolizing my 35 ½ years working as a railroad special agent.

Police Officers stand as the thin line that protects society from good and evil, chaos and order. Hoping in doing so, we can have Peace, Love, and Happiness.

The offset gaze of the eagle represents the sheepdog (eagle) keeping a well trained and focused eye to protect against the wolves (evil) of our society.

The wings surrouding the star and crescent represent the calming affect and security feeling when with God, Family and Friends.

Within the wings and other feathers are all of the names of my immediate family including grandchildren.

• All said in description. Finished product of Eagle should be about 5 to 6 inches tall
• The attached drawing of a perched Eagle is an example of how I want the Eagle displayed. The orange coloring was only an example of trying to hide family names within the feathers.

Schön zu haben

• A picture of the hands on the Family Headstone is one of a man's and one of a woman's clasping. I will attach an image. The females hands are to rigid. I would like them more feminine. I believe that I would like these between the Eagle claws on the perch. Names faintly added within feathers are Paul, Susie, Brandy, Eli, Scott, Andrea, Reagan, Sloane, Arden and Will
