But somehow my site has to stand out more if possible.

As I am new to this, I will guarantee once I see a few designs and I know that I'm am going to get something I like.

Budget for an update able e-commerce site with easily update able calender would cost around US$1500-US$2000. Let me know if this lies your budget so we could discuss this further.
