ABOUT ME/THE BRAND.BUSINESS:
I require a logo for my new business venture called Kristy meets....
My business is part off-the wall travel diary, adventures in traditional textiles, a celebration of makers, movers and shakers and a fashion forward on-line store that sells the artists one-off, hard to find, handmade clothing/homewares styled in a an uber, modern and artistic way.

Meets is not my last name - but an action. And I am the brand - Kristy, the person who meets the makers (artists, locals and makers of clothing and textiles) from unique places around the world.
My biz is all about adventures in textiles, wearable stories, slow fashion and quirky travel tales. Travel through an artistic lens. Celebrating the creative spirits, traditional artists, local legends through stories. And selling unique, handmade, hard to find pieces that can be worn in a fashion forward way. Each of my pieces I intend to sell is a one-off and comes with a unique story: who made it, wear it was made, how it was made.
I am about slow fashion that can be worn on the high street, sustainability, honouring ancient traditions, female empowerment and supporting female co-operatives, meeting the maker, giving back to communities, celebrating the creative spirit, unique cultural insights into off beat destinations and shining the spotlight on unsung artistas. And having fun!

I require a logo for Kristy meets that captures the essence of my brand and my personality.
The logo needs to be timeless, personable, fashion forward and is not defined to one destination.
I currently do not have a website, planning to create one. The logo will serve as a good visual reference to the direction of the website.

2. Global Artistic & Creative Souls: Photographers, visual artists, designers of all forms, crafters, weavers, musicians, sewers, bloggers, chefs, dancers, writers, poets, fitness fanatics and those who love to express them and revel in the delight and celebration of the creative and artistic form.
3. Wanderlusters & Travel Obsessed: Nomadic spirits who love to travel, learn about new cultures, are intrigued by daily life in different parts of the world and want to gain insights into unique destinations. This group may be other bloggers, fellow travelers or people who roam the planet.
4. Caretakers of the Earth: Conscious individuals or communities who believe in unity, equality, kindness and love and have strong ethical values.

Muss haben
- -Contain handwritten font or script (OK with mix of fonts) or super modern font for Kristy meets.
- -Must demonstrate that the meets part of the logo is an action and not my last name
- - contains an icon that can be used with or as standalone with the Kristy meets
- -Is fashion forward - curated - unique-conscious -individual and connects me to my customers
- -Is distinct and memorable
- -Is also approachable and friendly - demonstrating my creative side
- -Logo must be timeless, modern and look relevant in 10 years time
- -Logo must be able to travel with me to any part of the world
- -Logo must be legible from a distance and work well on web, a biz card and as an email footer
- -Logo must work well in BW and colour equally
- - Reads well on mobile devices, looks good at web and can be read from a distance
- -I want my biz card to have colour, be memorable, and stand out from the crowd.
Schön zu haben
- A logo that can be animated
Sollte nicht haben
- -***Does not have an OXFAM, fair-trade, hippy look to it. Very important**** colour choice is very important here: no Bob Marley palettes, Band-Aid, World peace look ****
- Logo should not look like it belongs to a particular destination - e.g. Mexico or Africa etc.
- A corporate, stiff or formal feel - does not look like it belongs to an IT company or consultancy company.
- Meets part of the logo does not look like it is my last name
- Does not have KM in the icon or blue/grey colour palette
- Logo does not look like letterhead --I will not be using the logo for that purpose
- Meets should not be in capitals - unless you have demonstrated that Meets looks like an action.
- I do not want a logo that looks corporate, formal or stiff nor do I want a logo that looks like stationery initials.
