Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am looking for a logo, circular "ring" in design, with the words MEMPHIS on the upper side of the ring, then the words BBQ PIT on the lower side of the ring. The words need to be in uppercase and black, solid font. the text needs to be inside the ring, but i would also consider the ring being in the background with the words over the top of the ring band, font being larger than the ring itself.

One concept I have for the centrepiece is an animated pig in the centre, a head and upper torso only I think. Being memphis, home of the King (Elvis Presley), I would like to see the pig with maybe his arm bent and his thumb up showwing approval for the food, aslo slicked back hear and sideburns would be a comical touch. He must be wearing a leather jacket as well and sunglasses.

Other concepts should include a pig, as this is a pork ribs restaurant, so a pig is the preferred animal in the concept.

This is my idea of the logo, but I am open to any other suggestions. It is a Smokehouse Barbeque Restaurant, seling Pork Ribs, Brisket, Chicken and Sausgae, all products are smoked.

A smokehouse in the centre of the ring could also be a design possibility, with a small chimney, with rain cap on top and the smoke coming out.

It is Memphis, Tennessee based, so it needs that Memphis feel to it, as well as the either a pig or something to identify the type and cooking style of the food sold.
