Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hello,
I run an early stage technology venture capital fund out of my home in NY.

I need a cool logo that captures the essence of Ride.

Why Ride in the first place?
All investments are a ride. there are many ups and downs. I embrace it all. the good the bad and the ugly. I stick by my founders through the start up roller coaster. Plus, I am always look for the next big idea - the next big wave -- to ride.

Ride captures my vibe - as a kid I loved to ride my bike, my skateboard, my dirt bike. As I got older I love to ride in my car (LOVE porsche 911 from the 80s). Learned to ski then i learned to snowboard. I also learned to windsurf and surf. I love cruising on water, snow, ice, dirt, pavement.

To me, life is all about the ride. It's never easy - but you can make it fun....just need to find the right path (capture the right wave, trail etc).

About me: almost 48, married, three teenage daughters.

Love shades of BLUE (mexico blue, prussian blue, petrol blue, ossi blue, baltic blue, dalmation blue, gulf blue - any porsche factory blue- and i love combinations of blue). Big time 80s geek and freak - loved arcade, video games, apple iie, atari, commodore, nintendo, sega. Huge music guy - 70s 80s in particular. Love lots of color combos - red/black, blue / orange, various shades of blue together. Love superheroes (capt america). Love star wars - huge fan of YODA. Also a fan of darth vader. Favorite book past couple years? READY PLAYER ONE. Love to grill and drink craft beer. Favorite new brewery? Industrial Arts in Haverstraw NY. Big fan of VERMONT IPAs (heady topper, lawsons). Love enjoying a sunset over the beach.

Lots of photos of RANDOM stuff that catches my eye attached plus a couple of drawings my wife made - she was trying to capture the essence of RIDE VENTURES on a board / platform to be riding on. Unclear if there needs to be a vague or subtle 'object' beneath ride but tossing it out there. Also not clear to me if it should be: Ride Ventures or RIDE VENTURES or ride ventures. Open to anything. this is MY FUND and it needs to capture my vibe / essence. So don't be afraid to toss out some nutty ideas.

Also worth noting: I have two female labs, huge fan of the beach, love to coach youth sports (girls soccer and lacrosse) and love to mentor young tech entrepreneurs.

On a sentimental note, my hope is that Ride lives on beyond me and one day one of my daughters (or ALL THREE) continue to invest from Ride Ventures.

• Could be fun to have the name / logo enclosed in a box or design so it can sit by itself.
• I am open to ANY color combo but I def like shades of BLUE with dark greys, also red with blacks and dark greys, i like ORANGE
