IMPORTANT BRIEF UPDATE*****I need a logo that is about the experience. some human element or interaction that communicates what it is like to be engulfed, surrounded or immersed in the best sound you have ever heard felt. I need emotion, bliss, nirvana. I want to explore the notion of perfect sound and life, or living sound. Beyond being technological it needs some that people can connect to or means something. It obviously needs style, but it needs meaning and substance.
• Human elements or presence MIGHT be part of the solution I am looking for.
• Please be careful with using sounds waves that look like wifi. It confuses what we are selling.
• We are selling a sound experience, not just a speaker.
• This is a premium brand. It is Lamborghini, Rolex. NOT Mercedes or Timex.*****
A logo that will extend into a brand identity for Australian based global audio brand VAF Research.
About VAF:
Established in January 1978, VAF started from the founder building speakers in his bedroom. 36 years later VAF is a premium global audio brand that continues to create, design and build great loudspeakers.
VAF branded loudspeakers and subwoofers are designed more natural and accurate sound reproduction and VAF is passionate about delivering the best listening experience possible. Tens of thousands of individual owners in Australia and around the world use VAF loudspeakers in their stereo and home theatre systems.
Rolling Stone Magazine calls VAF "The ultimate in high fidelity performance with the best bass in the world"
IMPORTANT:
1) Their current logo (attached) is used on their old website http://vaf.com.au
A new website will be going live any day now. The logo must fit the aesthetic of the new website (screen shots attached).
2) Research word is being dropped. Submissions can have VAF Speakers, VAF Audio,VAF Living Sound or VAF Evolved Audio. Designers choice. Just VAF will not work as it doesn't have enough brand recognition to work without a clue or suggestion that they are speaker or audio company. VAF is also moving into a space in which the products can be considered lifestyle.
The Logo must be:
- Modern
- Premium
- Must be able to look good in stitching or on a die cast medal (to stick on speakers)
- Have the ability to grow – i.e. fit with potential sub-branding
- Must work in colour, B&W - black on white and white on black
A competitive review or audit of speaker brands have been attached.
