Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We're a start-up nonprofit that focuses on connecting researchers and policymakers as a means of facilitating evidence-based policy. The logo will be used on our website, business cards, letterhead, and other promotional material. Our target audiences are relatively broad stakeholders that include researchers, professional organizations, elected officials and their staff, and charitable foundations. We want to convey professionalism yet novelty with our design, and the color pallet must indicate bipartisanship (e.g. equal red-blue, use of purple). We often use "RPC" to describe ourselves, but we are also toying around with "R2P" as an alternative. The attached file is a mock-up that I created, but we're not wedded to that as a design choice. The idea was to convey science and expertise, and the brain is symbolic of our origins in behavioral science.
