Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Mechanic Street Brewing Company is a startup brewery located in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Our goal is to create one of a kind craft beers while supporting the local community! The goal with this logo design is to achieve a solid brand identity that will drive the design of the rest of the project. The logo should be simple, square in proportion (But not necessarily a square), modern, yet must embody the feeling of the name: Mechanic Street Brewing Company.

I envision using a gear in the logo, but maybe you can come up with something better? It needs to be simple and memorable. I've included the logo and some other marketing from a brewery that I feel got it right. I especially like the simple logo, and the way they bring it all together with each beer label. I'm looking for something similar.

Some background on the name: The street that the brewery will be on was originally named Mechanics Street. We have chosen to drop the "s" on Mechanics for branding purposes. Local history and photos will be displayed in the brewery, and we plan on having modern/industrial look and feel to the final place.
