Dear Designers,
I wanted to send a note of thanks and to give you an update. There are 350 entries and all of them are so beautiful. As many of you know, this is more than a logo because it represents a little girl's dream. So many people that loved her are looking at the designs and how she has been honored by all of you and they are so grateful. It is now coming down to the personal touches and since there are a few days left in the contest, I thought I would share a few things for those of you that are interested. As I mentioned before, Chaney rescued animals and found them homes. The one that was hers was a mixed dog, but mostly Lab. Cali is still alive and she is solid black except for there is some white on her chin and neck. Chaney was only 19 years old but she had an old soul and loved the peace sign and heart emblem for love. She was a dreamer for sure. She was always saying this or something like it: Dream as if you will live forever. Live as if there is only today. (Not that we want to see this in the logo!) Just wanted to share. Thanks so much!

It would had been wonderful to know her, for sure! We have so much in common! Lucky you, guys! And it has been a grateful experience to contribute to this project and read your words! Thanks to your story I was able to think about my own life, and its meaning, and I've made a great decision this past weekend. So, Chaney's family and friends, be sure that she is still making the difference! And this time she helped someone in Brazil to figure out what is really important as we're passing through this planet! <3

Dear Designers,
After reviewing over 500 design submissions, we have finally made a decision on Chaney’s logo. This was a very difficult task as there were so many beautiful designs and concepts. Some of them were truly exceptional and really touched our hearts. You have been wonderful to work with and we extend our gratitude to you for participating in our project. Although Chaney is no longer with us, she would be so proud to know that amazing designers from all over the world played a part in making her dream a reality. Once we finalize some details, we will announce the winner. (Also….. at some point in the future, we hope to start another related project and we are keeping our fingers crossed that you might consider that one.) Thank you again and please know that we are wishing for you much success and happiness in all that you do!
