Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a Canadian high school named the "Crusaders" that exemplifies the modern meaning of the word "Crusader" - that is someone fighting for a noble and just cause. Like Canadian David Suzuki and American Erin Brockovich are crusaders for the environment or Bernie Sanders is a crusader for public health care and free college, that sort of Crusader. We want to move away from our current medieval warrior on a horse logo. We are thinking something in the superhero realm (maybe a takeoff on the "Caped Crusader"). Our school name is "Waterloo-Oxford" and our colours are kelly green, black and white. Our school motto is "Carpe Diem". We would want this to be a logo that high school students (teenagers) would wear on school spirit wear and that would look great on school athletic uniforms, painted on the gym wall etc.
