Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for the Michigan Mentorship Academy. This is an event. We need two versions of the logo, one that is more square (like for the cover of a folder or a title slide) and one that is more horizontally oriented (like for letterhead or the top of an agenda). The event name can NOT be abbreviated in the logo (i.e. MMA is not acceptable). Maize and blue color scheme (University of Michigan) is strongly preferred.

Exemplary mentorship is a major way that University of Michigan trains the next generation of physicians and scholars. As leaders in mentorship, we have designed a full-day educational experience “The Michigan Mentorship Academy” for those interested in learning about how to mentor and be mentored. This event will be targeted toward mentor-mentee dyads, faculty development leaders interested in mentorship and increasing the success of mentees (this could also include program directors and departmental leaders), individual mentors looking to improve their mentorship capabilities, and junior people (residents, fellows, junior faculty) looking to get the most out of their mentoring relationships. We think about mentoring as the mentor helping the mentee to find the "golden nugget" inside them. The group also thinks about mentoring as a concept of interlinking pieces. Mentorship is so much about everyone coming together to form a bigger, better whole.

I have attached an example of a logo the group likes (Leadership Development Program), also refer to this link for for the Michigan Promise logo that the group also really likes - https://medicine.umich.edu/dept/surgery/faculty-resident-life/michigan-promise-blog. The logo cannot include the University of Michigan block M, the words "University of Michigan" or "Department of Surgery."

• Would be nice to incorporate the imagery of the "golden nugget" (see Project Description). Or would be nice to see imagery of mentor "lifting up" or "guiding" or "encircling" a mentee.

Sollte nicht haben

• Should not have the words "University of Michigan", any departmental reference or the University of Michigan block M. Should not involve medical imagery.
