Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Need a logo for a new guitar company. The logo will be used in some marketing material, t-shirts, etc., but mainly need something that looks great on the headstock of the guitars. The guitars are handmade, natural wood (no paint), suited for rock and roll. The guitar designs are simple/classic - not flashy or gimmicky. The logo shouldn't be too complicated or fancy. Kind of a laid back vibe maybe. One color. The market for these guitars and current players are in the rock and roll, stoner rock, heavier music realm, but not looking for a "metal" logo. The full logo should say "Lew Guitar Company" but the headstock logo will just be the "Lew" part. The "Guitar Company" part needs to be able to be pulled out and the "Lew" parts need to be able to stand on its own. Not sure if the logo should just be the text, or if text and a "accent" piece. No guitar shapes in logo please.
