Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Greetings!

We need a logo for our product, which is, basically, a mobile application. So we expect to use part of the logo on the product icon: an example could be "LinkedIn" logo, where "in" part is used as a separate icon.
PS: Please, do not take it as a direct call for action, I've received a lot of PunchER designs - that's totally wrong. There is some sense in LinkedIn "in" icon, no sense in "ER" - it stands for Emergency Room acronym.

The name of the app is "Puncher". It has nothing to do with boxing, kicks etc. =) The app would be used to store punch cards - those for getting extra free cup of coffee in coffee shops ("buy five get one free") AND OTHER SERVICES.

So, the logo should have "PUNCHER" text AND some graphical symbol.
The app will utilize material design, so we would like the logo to harmonize with it.
We enjoy the idea of adding a little bit of skeuomorphism, thus the logo might look like cut out of paper, punched paper, shadows, negative space, silouette, flat 3d.

Please have a look at this work for inspiration (https://www.behance.net/gallery/36945469/Designer-Fund-Bridge-Speaker-Series-Posters) - we really enjoyed the style. The colors should be natural looking.
PS: I have found that it is really hard to implement the aforementioned style in the logo so that it looks nice. This is not necessary, please just do your best.

We'd like the logo to look abstract rather than literal.
Modern, technological.
Please use a limited amount of colors and details.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• It MUST have a graphical symbol to be used in the app icon. The "puncher" text is secondary, the symbol is primary.

Schön zu haben

• Would be nice to have some connection with the app purpose, but that shouldn't be a straightforward representation.

Sollte nicht haben

• The logo would be used on a website and mobile app primarily, so please, do not post designs "printed on a business card" or "engraved on a monumental marble polished wall of some corporate building". It will not make a bad design look better. Please use a neutral background.
• Shouldn't have cups of coffee
• We don't like to associate the logo with "discount, cheapness" so no "%" symbols etc., please.
