T-Shirt-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I produce a podcast for amateur radio operators (www.ditdit.fm). It's about Morse code and people who enjoy sending and receiving the code.May I ask, do you know what amateur radio (HAM radio) is or anything about it? I have already worked with a couple t-shirt designers on a design that didn't work out. They were great and very talented graphic artists, they just didn't have any idea about what amateur radio was about. I thought it would be best to ask you at the beginning of the process if you were familiar with the hobby, the last thing I want to do is waste your time and talent. :)What I would like is a design featuring my podcast brand that is amazing, cool, and colorful! Ideally, the design would have the name of the podcast, DitDit, with the tagline, The Podcast for Morse Code and CW Operators, and somewhere in smaller type the podcast's URL, www.ditdit.fm. I - think - it would be nice to have some amateur radio/Morse code related graphic elements in the design but I'm just talking out loud right now. I'm not sure what to ask for.I have no preconceived ideas about what the design should be. No idea of what I'm looking for. In the past when I've tried to create something on my own it has always looked like crap. I am not an artist or designer. :) All I can tell you is I'd like something amazing, cool, hip, and colorful and I'll know it when I see it. I know that probably isn't helpful at all, but I know enough to stay out of your way and put my trust and faith in your creative process. Ultimately, I'd like to create a new design each quarter as a giveaway to people who have signed up for my mailing list and for other special events we may have throughout the year. We'll see. I still need to find an artist who understands and can read my mind!! ;)
