Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

OVERVIEW:
I'm a creative director consulting for a crypto currency startup. I don't have time to design the logo myself but will be able to give excellent feedback and direction.

The company is called Apex and it is a crypto currency exchange. If you're not familiar with crypto currency exchanges please check out these category leaders. Essential it is a website where anyone can sign up for an account to buy and exchange crypto currency.

WHAT WE NEED:
We will need a logo that can stand by itself as well as a logo lock-up with the exchange name next to it "APEX"
Please incorporate the logo mark and the font treatment for the name.

MORE BACKGROUND:

INSPIRATION:
I've included other images of logos we like in the crypto space ;)
- mountain/ summits
- use the A as an interpretation of the mountain
- But doesn't have to be mountain
- explore Stock charts
- should feel like financial success
- Board said they want hard angles (not rounded)


NOTES:
- I like when logos have a slight color fade. It seems to be a popular trend at the moment. This company wants to feel cutting edge and hip. Think of them as the place millennials will go to do crypto.
- Open to color recommendations too. We'd like to stand out in the category

• - Pick one main color to work with
• - Must feel iconic and recognizable
• - Very contemporary
• - Must instill confidence and trust, after all people are using this as a trading platform.

Schön zu haben

• - Logo should work with it to the copy to the left of it for website masthead
• - Logo should work with copy under it for thumbnail and app icon use.
• - is there a way to incorporate the way a stock chart moves with a mountain or summit
• - Open to serif but leaning towards san-serif
• - Open to other ideas that aren't mountains

Sollte nicht haben

• - NO actual mountain peeks. It should allude to being a mountain not actually be one
• - NO circuits or wires please
• - NO money symbols
