Buchumschlag Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a front, back and spine cover for e and print for a short book. The book is called Michael, subtitle, A Testimony. It is about an eyewitness to the Archangel Michael. I would like to use the design many times with different colours for a series in spirituality and magic. So hopefully I can work with the designer again. The simple idea, is a plain cover in a colour, here blue. Mostly a font based cover, with a small symbolic image silhouetted at the bottom. Other covers will be orange, same font, and a different silhouette symbolic image and so on.

We need: a blue that will print well and look good on a screen. Serious, inviting honesty and truth and not flat. A font that is modern, female, says mystic but not old saint. The author is female and an award-winning writer in different areas. We need a uniform space for a title, (here Michael), a uniform space for "A Testimony", a small space for a simple symbolic image, and author name, Jodie Archer. The small image on this blue cover should be in red. Ideas would be a simple rose head. The cover must look modern and professional and compliment the brand at www.jodiearcher.com.

If the designer would simultaneously like to pitch to design the whole series (which will have many titles), another one would be a warm/hot pink background with the title Date Night, subtitle, Spiritualize Your Couple Time. Small image silhouetted in orange might be a small gift shape, or a seahorse. Same author name, Jodie Archer. Another cover would be green background, title Meditation: subtitle, Five Ways to Change Your Life. Image in yellow: a rolled yoga mat, or an Om symbol. Jodie Archer. If we find a groove for the whole series, I can keep working with the same designer. Of course, the cover just for Michael is fine here, but please bear in mind it fits into this wider series. Blue covers are about conversation with or contact with key spiritual figures, each from the author's own personal experience. Another one there would be "Sri Yukteswar", A Conversation with an English Girl. Image would be a simple daisy or a trophy emblem in red.

Font is crucial here and will define a series. Modern spirituality for the current generation. It must suggest contact with higher planes without being chintzy. Thank you!
