His name is 'Blue Roo' and he's inspired by the hundreds of kangaroos that roam the hinterland, right near the famous Bells (surf) Beach. As the name suggests he's a blue kangaroo!
Blue Roo loves to surf and anything to do with the ocean, the coastline and looking after our precious environment. He's even more passionate about telling stories to kids about his travel and experiences around the country.
Now we just need to bring him to life through graphics/illustration.
I'm thinking of a 'less is more' illustrative style, much like Maisy Mouse but happy to look at other approaches.
