Kindly do a google search with these key words "generic logos", "overused logos", "avoid these logos" etc. You will get plenty of similar split circle and text inside logos. You know what, all these are picked up by design related websites and publishing same content is only to create awareness for the people who are looking for professional logo for their business. You may see many of these titles have a warning as well "avoid them!". A logo is not just a graphic, it's an identity mark of the business. Its should meet current standard, it should feel trust worthiness, and it must be professional. So don't be cheated!!

I think you should review again the submitted designs. I think you're chosen logo is not suitable for you. It's so generic and overused.
