WordPress-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a new website ~ wordpress design preferrably ~ to capture our personality .. unique and feminine, without being too girly or prissy! We are a business women's networking group which has been described as vibrant, rowdy and fun; a safe place for women to gather; holistic; and a little bit edgy. Unique and down to earth. Originally created by two close friends who met when their kids were in kindergarten together and out of a shared passion to encourage women to be more than a spectator to life; to create flexible, viable sources of income in order to allow more time for family, friends and other passions.

We have had a local designer working on our new website but are not satisfied:

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Our colour scheme is pink and aqua (some bold; some pale .. see uploaded files for logo).
  Two of our most often used taglines ~ and at least one of these should appear somewhere prominently so that page visitors can know right away what we do:
  1. "A place for women to connect ~ business growth and personal development in a positive environment"
  2. "The monthly event women DO look forward to.."
  A feature of our website needs to be 'people' .. happy smiling faces and movement in a slider section (have uploaded some pics for inclusion but would like provision to add more).
  Website must have provision for several tabs as there are many facets to our networking group. Must have a 'subscribe now for our top 10 networking tips' button (something a little funky :-) Must also have room somewhere for up to five major sponsor logos/advertising and a bold link to our forum.
  One of the features of our group is the use of inspirational quotes .. we'll need to have a place on front page where quotes are displayed/alternated .. if you want an example, use "Well behaved women rarely make history" ~ Laurel Thatcher Ulrich
  This is the first project I've listed so not sure how much detail to include re names of tabs etc.
  Facebook and Pinterest tabs.

Schön zu haben

• Preferrably a white background but would like an impression or watermark image (possibly in very pale grey, pink or aqua) of a floral or scroll .. something that will tie in with the rest of the page.
  
  Happy for you to surprise us with a design a little bit out of the square :-)

Sollte nicht haben

• Should not be too 'kitchy' or too girly (the pics we've included have enough 'feminine' to carry that through, I think). The name of our company 'The Kitchen Table Network' refers to the concept of a Kitchen Table Entrepreneur and is aimed at a not-so-conservative, less formal, more open, honest and real woman, most likely a mother who is juggling both family and career.
