Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for a new social app called Amigo. It's a meet-up app that uses the colours of traffic lights to suggest compatibility. So green, orange/yellow and red. I'd like the logo to be quite simple, just an A, cartoon like and friendly, lower or upper case is fine. We would also need the full word Amigo, in a similar bold style, again utilizing the colours of the traffice lights. I envisioned the logo to be on a white background with the three colours making up the border, in thin lines with white space between them, or perhaps using one of the colours as the coulour for the 'A'. The three colours I'm keen on using are on the photo I've attached.
