Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
The Twin Cities Kids In Need Resource Center is changing its name to Kids In Need Minnesota and it needs a new logo! We are a program of the Kids In Need Foundation (KINF), a national nonprofit that works to ensure kids are prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies to kids most in need. Kids In Need Minnesota is a resource center that makes these free supplies available to teachers across the state both by online ordering and a physical store where they can come to shop. The logo needs to convey who we impact (teachers on behalf of high need students), where we impact (the state of Minnesota), and what we provide (free school supplies). Ideally the logo would be designed such that the symbol could stand alone and be used with or without the logo text. The style should be strong, impactful, and clear. It needs to convey teachers or classrooms, but nothing in the font selection should be actually childish or juvenile. We'd prefer no faces or people represented.

Muss haben
- Both an image/icon in the logo and the text "Kids In Need Minnesota" but the two should be separate enough that the image/icon can be used independently of the words and still convey the meaning.
Schön zu haben
- One option would be to use the outline or shape of the state of Minneosta - maybe rendered with supplies as the border, or filled with supplies to make the state shape? Don't limit yourself to this, it is just one idea we'd had.
- It would be nice to have a version that works in either a single color or two colors so displaying on various backgrounds is easy, and printing onto collateral or clothing, etc is not too expensive.
