Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The VITdALIZE-KIDS study is a randomized controlled trial that will be conducted at about 10 children's hospitals across Canada.

We are looking for help designing a logo for this clinical research study. The logo will be used on the study website, in powerpoint presentations at conferences, and on documents for the study (the study protocol, newsletters). Since the study drug is vitamin D, we were thinking of potentially including a kid-friendly sunshine, with the study acronym and title. We would like a logo in bright kid-friendly colours, but designed in a way that the logo would also work in black and white on printed documents.

I have attached two logo examples from other pediatric clinical studies for reference.

We would like the logo to include, and focus on the study acronym: "VITdALIZE-KIDS", and also include the full study title (Rapid Correction of Vitamin D Deficiency in Pediatric Critical Illness). Ideally the logo is designed in a way that it could be used with just the acronymn, or with both the acronym and study title. The study title could be cut out and leave the image and acronym, or could be used as is.
