The name of my company is Holegy
Holegy is a new word; it’s not in the dictionary. Holegy a portmanteau of the words holistic and strategy, using the first 3 and last 3 letters of these words respectively. I own the domain name holegy.com
The strap line is holistic strategy
My business is strategic thinking coaching business 1:1 via VOIP and in-person workshops for executives and leaders. The core of my coaching methods is based on the fact that I have figured out a way to represent 100+ visual strategic thinking tools on just three types of diagram. These diagrams, when combined, form a multi-dimensional representation of and organisation’s strategy over time.
I help individuals and organisations figure out which particular tools are relevant to their organisation’s needs, and how best to combine them together to develop a coherent strategy which can be clearly communicated and therefore more easily executed. My method rapidly gets to the heart of organisations strategic challenges in order to help leaders and executives navigate strategic change.
My method is therefore very visual, . Samples of my diagrams are provided in the attached file.
Styles which I like:
Authors who have a clean simple "whiteboard" styles are Dan Roam (Author of The Back Of The Napkin, Draw to Win etc. – uses just black, and red to highlight key points) and Scott Berinato, author of Good Charts: The HBR Guide to Making Smarter, More Persuasive Data Visualizations.
Whilst I do a lot of whiteboard type diagrams, I trained as an Engineer, so some of my drawings also have an Engineering CAD feel to them.

- - A website which I will be building on Weebly
- - my business cards
- - my email footer
- I need a Logo only for:
- - The footer of my diagrams which I draw in Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio - these are normally printed in black and white or greyscale,
- a version of the logo with ".com" on the end - holegy.com
- Key requirement of the Logo for the word holegy:
- The logo design and style must help increase the likelihood that people will read, internally verbalize and pronounce the word holegy as hol-e-gy rather than hole-gy or ho-leg-y. An example I have heard of in the past is the consulting firm Deloitte who did not like it that people used to call them Deloitte's with an "s" on the end after they changed their name, so they put a green period "." at the end of Deloitte which was simple but effective https://www2.deloitte.com/au/en.html
- The strap line "holistic strategy" should help reinforce the pronunciation of the word holegy when used with the logo, and also help convey that the word holegy is meant to represent "holistic strategy". The strap line needs to work with the words holegy and holegy.com. or on its own as a stand alone strap-line.
- The logo will not always be used with the strap line, so it cannot rely on the strap line to help with the pronunciation. As mentioned above, I print a lot of my diagrams in B/W or grey scale, so the brand needs to work in grey scale as a minimum as well as any color.
