Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are interested in updating our current logo design, or possibly coming up with a new logo. We are a small K-8 conservative, Christian school. We have been in existence for 22 years, and have during that time developed several logos/images. At one time we had some sports teams, and came up with the Eastside Eagles. We have a large eagle with his wings spread painted on the gymnasium wall as our mascot. We have a different logo entirely for our stationery using a big person/little person. We're not necessarily tired of either, but we hope to come up with one logo to identify the school, whether it's stationery, apparel items, pens & pencils, mugs, etc. We want something that everyone associated with our school will want and desire, whether it's the children who attend, their parents, or the older grandparent/supporter types. A couple members who are knowledgeable with art and color specifics, something that I am not, have this to say: "Our updated color palate is green (89bc40) and blue (477bb4), and sometimes a gray accent is used." & "Our updated colors are Pantone_____and CYMK_____." Here are a couple additional comments that they give: "One thing to keep in mind in the design process-our end goal would be to have a stand alone symbol derived from our logo to put on promotional materials...whether that be a letter or a symbol." & "Any new design should have the option of separating the text portion from the symbol for maximum flexibility."
