Buchumschlag Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking for a cover for book titled 'Stardust Sentinels', by Sarah M. Kalin. The main character is a 14 year old girl who is recruited to help escort people through the dreamscape while they sleep. I am open to creative suggestions, but am thinking of the cover showing a giant stairway featured in the story. I have included an excerpt describing it below. The book will be written for a young adult audience. Excerpt describing stairway: "Something began to take shape below, a spiral of some sort. It wound inward and down into a distance Bex couldn’t see. It was a tremendous stairway – the biggest she’d ever seen or imagined – and on it moved people. The stairs were transparent, only outlined in a sparkling starlight. Above her spread the galaxy. In the stars she spotted constellations: Hercules, the seven sisters, the big dipper, they kept appearing. Though Bex never saw any move, the formations gave the impression they were watching over the people on the stairway. " Story blurb"Sometimes you have the dream, and other times the dream has you.Bex hated dreams. She was getting better at ignoring them, but if it was up to her the summer nights would pass peacefully without constant interruptions. So she wasn't entirely displeased when she was recruited by the Stardust Sentinels to help guide dreamers at night. Now each night was filled with new adventures instead of her own thoughts. But life starts catching up with her and Bex must choose between doing what is easy or what is right."Book will be published by Feral Cat Publishers, logo file attached. Also attached is a template for paperback cover. Deliverables must be compatible with Adobe Illustrator for approval. Back cover text to be completed later. Designs will not be accepted if additional licenses must be purchased.
