Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I've had the same logo for 15 years. I've tried changing a couple of times but keep getting stuck. We had been a larger builder but now I am a small very custom homebuilder. Most of my projects are complicated and nicely finished second homes, vacation homes or retirement homes. I'd like a fresh look to go along with what I am doing now with only doing a couple of projects at a time. The idea of our name, Blue Sky Building Company, is fresh starts, the sky is the limit, it's a beautiful day to be alive and build your dream. Most come to our area for the beautiful blue sky and weather. Many are coming here to get away or to start the next chapter in their life. The logo should be upscale, happy and fairly simple. I'd like it to be easy to read and understand and be able to fit on a variety of color backgrounds or look good in greyscale as well.

• UPDATE:
• I have removed the old logo with the weathervane. Too many were just taking that and making a change or two. I would like to get away from the weathervane. It is too feminine and cutesy. I do not want clouds or balloons. So many of the samples coming back are way too cutesy. We build expensive homes for sophisticated clients. We also do some commercial work but not skyscrapers. Please leave the skyscrapers out of the logo. I do like some of the abstract stuff coming back but I do not want to have to explain to everyone what it means. SIMPLE is better here folks. Clean, positive feeling, upscale, professional, simple. Thanks.
• I do not want it to say the letters BS anywhere for obvious reasons. Please do not do a simple roof and a window and clouds. That is so common. I can get that for free on a Google image search or logo software. I hate a roof and a window. EVERYONE does that. I'm adding my current logo here as that might help speed things up. I could just keep it so I need something very cool or very different that does not look like stock clip art. Please do not just take my existing logo and make one change and call it good. I'm open to incorporating parts of it, modernizing it or going a completely different route. Please do not use skyscrapers that have nothing to do with what we do. Thanks.
