Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Design a logo for a new national holiday to celebrate the skilled trades. It needs to celebrate several different skilled trades, as well as incorporate an existing company logo from the founder. 2019 will be the first year. We want the logo to be clean and concise, and fully convey a variety of skilled trades and their importance. We'd prefer it to be in an emblem design. We've provided a variety of examples we like, as well as an existing logo to incorporate.

PLEASE READ THE FULL BRIEF - ESPECIALLY THE MUST HAVES. Any logos submitted that do not meet all details outline in the brief will not be considered.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Include the text: National Skilled Trades Day
• SKILLED TRADES should not be separated onto two lines or in any other visual format; these need to go together in the design. The focal point is the day - National Skilled Trades Day. The CMT and graphical elements should be secondary to this title.
• Incorporate the CMT logo into the design of this new logo. Reference the example from Irwin Tools for National Tradesman Day; they did a good job of working in an existing logo w/ the day logo design.
• Graphical elements that represent several skilled trades professions - Gear, wrench, stethoscope, scissors/comb for a hairdresser. Reference the "Skilled for the Future" logo.
• Colors and text styles from the founding company's logo (CMT) - We want to be able to incorporate the existing brand w/ the new holiday.
• KEEP THE SAME COLORS AS THE CMT Logo. Pantone colors: 294 and 185 and Black.
• A font style that compliments the existing CMT.

Schön zu haben

• Shape of a "badge" or "patch" - sew on patches are common in the skilled trades. We'd like to be able to use the logo to create a patch if needed.

Sollte nicht haben

• Any other verbiage aside from National Skilled Trades Day CMT.
• Any other colors besides those found in the CMT logo - aside from black.
• Do not focus on just 1 type of skilled trade. We want this to represent a WIDE RANGE of skilled trades; we do not want it to just show construction or building, etc. The Skilled for the Future is a nice example of working several in.
• PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT MULTIPLE VERSIONS OF THE SAME LOGO. We just need it once on a plain white background.
