The bottom line/mission statement should curve up as the bottom of the circle curves up. Just live the top words curve down.

From the project description it looks like You need someone who does illustrations, so You would probably receive more (and better) ideas if this was posted under "Illustration" category. Not many graphic designers do illustrations. Logo design is more about creating simple looking identifiers, symbols that are meant to work for example on a 5x5mm area on a pencil.
