Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a new digital art museum that focuses on 4 areas: 1) gaming, 2) art/film, 3) education and 4) well-being. We will have VR booths, free-roam gaming, interactive projections on walls, digital art installations, VR cinema, VR escape rooms etc. The museum is called VR theatre; (we are based in the UK so its theatre, not theater! ;) ). (I think I prefer "theatre"; in lower case.)We believe we have settled on a logo that comprises of an eye within an abstract compass, each point of the compass representing one of the areas listed above. VR theatre will take you on an exciting and inspiring journey, hence the compass etc.I would like to see designs that highlight the many experiences and ideas coming together by blending colours and overlapping shapes (please see uploaded files for the sorts of things I mean - especially the Marlowe theatre logo). I have tried to draw an example of what I mean (also in the uploaded files) - clearly this needs to be improved upon.I quite like how watercolours work in logos, so it might be interesting to see how that would look too. So we are communicating the blurring of boundaries between art forms, experiences and gaming, and how they can overlap.Would like to have designs that have some versatility, e.g. the eye compass on the left with VR theatre on the right (or in the actual compass). Or versions when the pupil is replaced with VR theatre for example.

I've just added a corporate colour scheme. Please use this if you are struggling to come up with appropriate colours.

• The merging, mixing or overlapping of colours to produce the logo of an eye within a compass.

Schön zu haben

• Like the idea of abstract shapes making up the compass points, but open to suggestions.
• We intend to animate some element of the logo in future, so if you can factor in the potential for us to add movement or something hand drawn that would be great.
• We have a working strapline of the following:
• Play. Learn. Be Challenged. Be Inspired.

Sollte nicht haben

• Should be gender neutral and appeal to wide number of segments. Don't want it to be too dark/masculine, needs to be fairly colourful and playful.
