Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I would like to get a logo design for a real estate company. My first thought was to have “Rice” spelled out with a smaller “RE” or “Real Estate” in smaller letters to the lower right. Maybe in some sort of a shape.
I am not most creative, hence the design crowd contest, so I am open to something very different. My goal is to have a nice clean modern design that will look nice on business cards and shirts. I want to keep it to preferably two or maybe three colors for ease of branding and printing future marketing materials and shirts/signs. I think silver and purple or maybe silver and blue have a nice look, but again I defer to the creative professionals
I only want to share my first thoughts down as a jumping off point for you to start your design. I do not however want any design related to rice as the grain/food. Rice is my last name/surname so rice grain/food design are not welcomed. Any design using that will be immediately dismissed.
