Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

The Presbyterian Church of Toms River is looking for a logo that highlights our strengths which include our unique ability to offer both a strong contemporary worship service (praise band in a more casual setting) and a strong traditional worship service (choir in a more traditional, formal church setting). Our logo should be an equal balance in style between modern and traditional design elements to reflect this balance. We have active programs for Children, Youth, Adults, and Seniors. We want to convey a welcoming atmosphere as well as a modern design that still feels familiar to the traditional elements of our church.

• Uplifting
• Biblical-based foundation for ministry

The logo will be used in diverse media and will need to work in color as well as B/W. Eventually, versions will be needed for light backgrounds as well as dark backgrounds. Since our name is so long, we are interested in a version with the full name that is wide, and a version just with "PCTR" that is roughly square. Since the ways we will use the logo are so diverse we are looking for a single identifiable image that could be used across the different versions.

• • No building imagery - we are a people-focused ministry not an edifice.
• • Logo does not necessarily need traditional Christian images (Cross, Fish etc) but we are open to it if they are creatively incorporated.
• • We are not interested in generic clip art logos.
• • No script fonts.
• • Please don’t limit your ideas to water imagery just because we are geographically located minutes from the beach.
