Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a 30 year old family company from Portugal called Cruzinfor. Our main business is accounting and management services/software. We work specifically for the non profit sector, specially on the social economy.

Our previous logo (in attachment), that has been the same since the beginning of the company, is old and looks quite outdated and somewhat unprofessional, and we would like to renew our image - starting with our logo.

As for the company name, its meaning is as outdated as the old logo, and maybe not the best content to feed a branding process. "Cruz" refers to the city where the company was first based (which is not the city were we are located today) and "Infor" is short for "Informática", meaning "computing" because at the time of its creation, computerized accounting was still cutting edge.

Our philosophy is, of course, one of accountability and trustworthiness, but our work is characterized by a great proximity with the clients social causes. Therefore, we try to provide a service beyond "just" the numbers, with close interpersonal contact, adapting to the specific needs of the client while providing accurate and permanently updated financial and economical information.

Ideally the new logo should show some continuity with the previous one, even if only in a very small way - but this is not absolutely necessary, so we would definitely appreciate something entirely new.

We would like to see:
- Designs with only the logo/logo+plus company name
- Designs with the logo/logo+plus company name and the phrase 'contabilidade e gestão para a Economia Social' (it means 'accounting and management for the Social Economy')
