Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We want a design that *does not include a drawing or depiction of a crown*.

Crown Chemical is a manufacturer of cleaning chemicals for use in institutional and industrial facilities, such as schools, hotels, restaurants, food processing plants, car washes, hospitals and much more. Our current company logo (attached with this design brief) has been in use for more than 25 years on all marketing materials, labels, website, letterhead, and much more. We would like to update that logo. The current logo is too busy, too complicated and contains some vague industry references that are lost on most people. Our new logo will be clean, attractive and professional looking. It will use only the name "Crown," and will no longer include the words "Chemical" or "Incorporated." The word Crown can be enhanced and stylized in any fashion or font that is attractive. Graphics or enhancements in addition to the word Crown can certainly be used, provided they are appealing. The logo should convey the ideas of "clean," "bright" or "fresh" in a creative way without being complicated or busy. Please do not use cliches such as brushes, mops, sponges or spray bottles on the logo. A drawing or depiction of a crown would also be a cliche, so please do not use that either. For your initial submission, any color palette is acceptable. The winning logo will need to be provided in a format that allows us to change colors as desired using Adobe Illustrator. Please keep in mind that this will be a new logo for a 50+ year old company, so this is a very significant change. All submitted designs will be reviewed by a committee of our management staff. The winning design will be something that we are proud of, so please give this some thought and give us your best effort! GENERIC DESIGNS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED, SO PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM.
