Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I require a new logo for our wealth management practice, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. We develop and implement customized financial and investment solutions for people with money and family on both sides of the Canada/US border. This matters because they are dealing with the complexities of two very different tax, legal, investment and regulatory regimes that do not talk to each other. They are caught in a web of rules and regulations that entangle all of their planning. The primary metaphor for our brand is a "portage", which is a uniquely Canadian term which literally means to carry a boat (usually a canoe) between two rivers. The idea is that we help people carry something of value (their money/retirement plans) between two countries. I'd like a stylized image (line drawing) of a person carrying a canoe over their heads incorporated into the logo.
