Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for a dog grooming business that I'm starting up in a small town in Australia. I will offer bathing, drying, clipping and grooming to breed standard for dogs of all sizes. The average population of the town is older, most people are retirees from Sydney but many are still very active and up to date with trends and technology including in the dog industry. Their dog is part of the family and I will treat them as such. I'm a dog lover and owner myself and my mini schnauzer has put me on this journey. I’m originally from Germany, which is why I’ve given my business a German name with playful sound and relevant meaning: Schnipp Schnapp. ‘Schnipp schnapp’ means ‘snip snip’, the sound that scissors make. Scissors are one of the most important tools in dog grooming along with clippers, combs and brushes. I’d like a simplistic and timeless logo that is either grey and/or uses the colours blue and/or yellow – according to the latest research these are the only colours dogs can see. As tagline under the name I’d like to use ‘Dog Grooming & Styling’ which could be incorporated into the logo or not, I’m open for suggestions. The logo will need to work on different surfaces and applications such as business cards, website, on dog bandanas and embroided onto a grooming jacket.

The majority of the target customers are retired dog owners. Their dog is part of the family and gets pampered and spoiled almost like a child. Many people in this town are still very active and expect a service and product availability equal to Sydney. This town is very close to the beach which is part of the lifestyle. People love to stop for a chat and are very friendly.
