Flyer-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Create TWO versions containing the text from each of the attached Word files:
a) Short version: One ledger-sized page, edge-to-edge (no margins)
b) Long version: Between two and four letter-sized pages, edge-to-edge (no margins)

The design should:

1. resonate with/reflect the conference theme (MOST IMPORTANT) -- future focus, clear vision, blurring of boundaries between physical and virtual;

2. make a subtle nod to the venue of the conference (San Luis Obispo, California) -- e.g., silhouette of iconic landmarks (lighthouse and/or castle) / landscape and architecture of the city. (Please Google "San Luis Obispo" if you are not familiar with it);

3. be playful, fun, and futuristic, but not cliched;

4. prominently display the iLRN logo, PLUS the Cal Poly logo (under the text "Hosted by"), IEEE logo (under the text "Technically co-sponsored by") -- see the attached files. Where multiple versions of the logo have been supplied, you may select any version to use;

5. be able to be easily adapted by the Special Track Chairs to create their own Calls for Papers and Proposals using the same layout and format, changing the color scheme and/or graphics to achieve differentiation from the main Call while ensuring it looks like it is part of the same conference.

• Optionally incorporate into the design some iconography/graphics alluding to different application areas of XR for learning -- e.g., Medical/Health Education, Culture & Heritage, Workforce Development, Educational Assessment, Place-based Learning (Field Trips). However, please do not write out the names of these application areas in text anywhere in the design;
