We currently use a simplistic graphic, created internally, to depict our vision. We want to expand that to show the depth of what we want to connect, who we want to connect, and how we want to connect. Our vision statement is "to connect resources for at-risk populations through other nonprofits, businesses, and schools, in a way that empowers rather than enables. Resources to be connected are people, products, and meaningful purpose. (at-risk populations refers to low income people who can be homelesses, under educated, under employed, senior citizens, refugees, foster care, single teen parents etc.) The businesses we want to connect refer to businesses who want to have a "social footprint" by being known for donating to specific causes. (Toms shoes sells a pair and donates a pair, bombas socks does something similar). We want to show that by utilizing our nonprofit warehouse to donate products to, we can help build your business by letting potential shoppers know that you support at-risk people through our organization. In addition the full circle we want to show in this visual is that the people being helped by getting products and services, end up healthier and ready to be employed by the very businesses who have donated.

Business to Business (Target will be other nonprofits who will want to come and shop from our warehouse and take goods on behalf of the low-income people they work with as well as connect to other like minded nonprofits- i.e housing orgs. connect, work force development groups connect etc). Target- Businesses who have goods they can donate to have a social impact as well as donate services and/or employee at-risk people. Target- Populations of people (especially senior citizens or stay at home parents) who have talents to give and looking for an avenue to use them for social good (as a volunteer).

Muss haben
- Must have our name and logo. Must show how we connect each piece of the puzzle. Sponsors donate and are critical but ultimately we are trying to develop relationships with local businesses who will be the new donors/sponsors. I love pictures to depict messages as much as possible. I would prefer to have the nonprofit names listed and/or the logo of the organization.
Schön zu haben
- I have thought of depicting this as a wheel with The StoreHouse in the center almost like a Venn Diagram but it never seems to fully explain what we are doing. Ultimately the biggest challenge is showing that the person being impacted is the "low income/at-risk person" even though the "clients" who shop are "nonprofit businesses" and the donors are "for profit businesses".
