I am updating the e-book cover for my first book to bring it in-line with the 2nd in the series and hopefully closer to my original intention. I want the text to match the style of the second (see enclosed file). The design itself is as follows:
A scout (viewed from behind, wearing dark green leather armour and hooded cloak) kneeling in supplication before a large throne. The master is seated upon it, with only his legs (chainmail armour and heavy boots) and gauntlets (intricate metal to allow full mobility of wrist and fingers) visible. The rest is concealed by shadows, while his eyes glow red from the darkness.
I appreciate the potential complexity of the shadows, but capturing the depth and maintaining proportions is important.
The title of the book in this project is Desperate Times and it is book 1 in the Fate of Periand series.
