Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new upscale Bed and Breakfast in Yellowknife, NT, Canada, called Grand Aurora on 44th. The Aurora Borealis are a huge tourist attraction for Yellowknife, NT and the property is located right on a lake with pristine views of the Northern Lights during peak season.

We would like to see designs that incorporate the colour BRIGHT PURPLE.

We are looking for:
-Plain lettering (please see uploaded photo with demo font from Campo Marzio)
-a colour gradient of purple/blue/green fading through the word "Aurora" that mimics the northern lights. The letter A or Aurora should be the same purple as Grand and on 44th.

An idea we like is GRAND AURORA centered in large writing with "on 44th" up above in smaller, potentially different font, trailing off on the upper right corner of GRAND AURORA (somewhat like a street sign), with Yellowknife, NT in smaller font beneath GRAND AURORA.

Our hope is to provide an EXPERIENCE to guests traveling to Yellowknife and therefore would like to eventually brand this concept and offer additional properties. At that stage the logo would be used for merchandising items but for now will be displayed on business cards, brochures, note cards, and guide book. We are partial to a VERTICAL design but would like to see horizontal options as well.
