Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Wolf Trap Animal Rescue (WTAR) is a non-profit animal rescue group in the Northern Virginia area of the US. We pride ourselves on being the most modern-progressive animal rescue, that is relatively new - about 4 years old, established in 2015. We rescue about 1,500 puppies, kittens, dogs, cats a year from kill-shelters in Mississippi and transport them to Northern Virginia where they reside in foster homes until they are adopted. We like our current logo, and are looking for ways to expand this logo so print on merchandise is easier. We are opening The Wolf Trap Animal Rescue & Veterinary Center in January of 2020, and are brainstorming ways to incorporate the two fields.
SUGGESTIONS :
1) Simple, modern logo that is a "responsive logo" .
2)WTAR is our shorthand nickname known in the community: if you can come up with a logo that can be a responsive logo with WTAR and then expanding to the current logo - major plus
3) Usage of the current logo to expand off
4) Expansion of current logo to a logo that incorporates both rescue and hospital - major plus (Similar to FedEx, how they have different colors/style for different types of shipping services). We would have two services - Wolf Trap Animal Rescue & Wolf Trap Animal Hospital

NOTE: We do not want any "cartoonish" logos. Logos that are similar to sports teams, breweries, restaurant industry are more ideal and modern and similar to what we are looking for.
