Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am setting myself up as an individual Executive IT Consultant DBA 'Thoughtsand'. I have an initial name template as attached and am looking for a logo to go with this (but if you have a better aligned name template I am also open to that). Something simple and easy to recognize but also signifying a high level professional service. I was thinking about combining the lightbulb 'thought' or 'idea' image with a hourglass 'sand' timer as they are both similar shapes. However I am not sure this would work so am open to other ideas. The logo does not have to indicate 'Thoughtsand' but needs to work with or without the 'Thoughtsand' name. I want to emphasize innovation, quality and speed and have a logo that looks good in color (black, blue, sand) and black and white.
Update: I have had a number of entries but nothing has quite wowed me yet (though a few are being modified). Please see the must haves I have added below as a result of entries received to date.

The logo is just an image, no wording is needed (unless you have a great way of integrating it). It does need to work though when paired with the name.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Ability for logo to work in color and black and white.
• The 'S' in 'Thoughtsand' needs to stand out but still flow as in the sample attachment I provided, i.e. sand colored in the color version and italicized for the black and white version.
• No more lightbulbs on top of hour glasses or hour glasses inside lightbulbs please.
• The logo image must stand alone as well as compliment the wording.
• I am open to a logo not associated with lightbulbs or hour glasses but it has to still have some relevance and relation to the name.
• Don't overcomplicate it, simple and clear is good.
