Buchumschlag Design Kurzbeschreibung

I have written a book about discipline based on Montessori's principles. So I need a book cover that coveys discipline (or maybe just some children with happy faces) and also ties in Montessori (ideally). The cover could have one picture or perhaps 3 small pictures. I am open to creative ideas. My book argues against the current trend in discipline which is opposed to using consequences (such as time-outs), letting the child feel sad, saying "no" to the child, etc. The Montessori Method gives children freedom and choices, but within a definite structure. They are not free to run wild. The book will be a paperback and also an e-book.

Schön zu haben

• Could possibly have a photo or a drawing of a Montessori classroom with children sitting or working in a calm, disciplined manner. Or could have a picture of an adult talking to a child and the child listening to the adult. In the book I talk about discipline being likened to flying a kite. When the child behaves in a mature manner, the parent lets the string to the kite out, giving the child more freedom. But when the child misbehaves, the parent pulls the string back in restricting him. Parenting is a process of pulling the string in and letting it out until the child grows up. Then the parent can completely let it go. Perhaps something could be done with a kite.

Sollte nicht haben

• I am now thinking that the kite idea isn't going to work. I am getting some positive feedback on it, but mostly negative.
