Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for a general dental practice called Diamond City Dental, located in Wilkes Barre, PA (which used to be known as the Diamond City due to its high productivity of mining coal). This is a small boutique fee for service dental office that's located in an old Victorian private home. I like the idea of the coal to diamond transformation, as we strive to transform our patients smiles as well. The practice uses new technology but has an old school "barber shop" feel where the patients are like family. The practice also strives to be environmentally conscious and as "green" as possible despite the high waste nature of dentistry. I would like the design to have some visual element that can be combined with another name at another location (a tooth, a diamond? something like that).
